THE SHOOTING OF FRANZ FERDINAND FROM AUSTRIA
June 28, 1914, exactly 105 years ago there was a major event near the Latin Bridge of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. Shooting of Austrian-Hungarian crown prince Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife Sophie Duchess of Honenberg. This shooting took place near the Latin Bridge in Sarajevo by Gavrillo Princip who was one of the six members of the assassin (five Serbs and one Bosnian) organized by Bosnian-Serbian Danillo llic, the purpose of this shooting was for the provinces of the South Slavs. can liberate themselves and join the country of Yugoslavia. The figures most responsible for this assassination group were the Chief of Military Intelligence of Serbia Dragutin Dimitrijevic, his right hand man Major Vojislav Tankosid, and Spy Rade Malobabic, this event also marked the beginning of the world hit by war in 1914.

June 28, 1914 the couple Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie made a visit to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina to inspect the armed forces in the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina which was the former territory of the Ottoman Empire which was annexed to Austria-Hungary in 1908. They arrived and rested for a while at the City Hall of Sarajevo and continued their journey them by car. The date of Ferdinand's visit is the anniversary of the first Battle of Kosovo 28 June 1389 and the anniversary of their wedding. During the trip the conditions were still good and under control but death began to lurk when they passed the Apple Quay intersection, a bomb was thrown by a Serbian Nationalist Nedjelko Cabrinovic, the car shook but they managed to survive but right on the Latin Bridge Sarajevo was waiting for a young man Gavrillo Princip who was ready to open fire. At exactly 11:15 am Gavrillo Princip opened fire and Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were shot and an hour later they died.
The impact of this event was very large, Austria blamed Serbia for the death of the royal couple. Even the peak impact of this event was the world was ravaged by a terrible war in 1914 to 1918
